Madden 25 remains a beloved entry in the Madden NFL franchise, celebrated for its depth of gameplay, strategic opportunities, and the versatility of its offensive schemes. For players looking to take their game to the next level, exploiting overpowered "money plays" is the way to go. One of the most explosive and unstoppable offensive strategies in Madden 25 comes from the Philadelphia Eagles' playbook Madden 25 coins, offering a potent combination of passing and running plays that can dominate both Zone and Man coverage defenses.

In this article, we'll break down three of the most effective money plays in Madden 25's Philadelphia Eagles playbook: Curl Flat, Wide Trail, and Jet Touch Pass. We'll also demonstrate how these plays can be utilized in both online head-to-head games and real-world practice to show just how unstoppable these strategies can be. Let's dive into the specifics of each play and how they combine for a dynamic and powerful offensive attack.

1. Curl Flat – A Versatile Passing Attack

The Curl Flat play is a staple in the Gun Trips Tight End formation. This play is perfect for creating opportunities against both Zone and Man defenses. To get started, it's essential to flip the formation so that the trips receivers are aligned on the wide side of the field, maximizing space.

Pre-Snap Adjustments:

Before snapping the ball, there are several key adjustments you'll want to make:

Tight End on a Drag Route: This creates a quick, short-yardage option.

Outside Trips Receiver on a Streak Route: This serves as a deep threat, especially useful against Cover 2.

Post-Snap Progression:

Once the ball is snapped, your read progression will be as follows:

Middle Trips Receiver on the Flat Route: Against Zone coverage, you can hit this route immediately if the flat is open, gaining easy yards.

Outside Trips Receiver on the Streak Route: This is a potential one-play touchdown against Cover 2. If you see the defense is in a Cover 2 shell, lead the ball outside for a big gain.

Tight End on the Drag Route: If the first two options are covered, this route will often find a pocket in Zone coverage, and it's effective in Man coverage, where tight ends can beat defenders for solid yardage.

Running Back on the Texas Route: This route is an excellent option if your opponent is usering the drag route, leaving the middle of the field open for an easy gain.

The key to success with Curl Flat is to read the defense quickly and make your decision on the fly. The combination of short routes, deep threats, and drag options forces defenders to pick and choose, making it difficult to shut down the entire play.

2. Wide Trail – A Bunch Set Money Play

The Wide Trail play, run from the Gun Bunch Open Tight End formation, is one of the most effective plays in Madden 25 when trying to beat both Man and Zone defenses. As with Curl Flat, it is essential to make adjustments before the snap, ensuring the most effective alignment for the play to succeed.

Pre-Snap Adjustments:

Tight End on a Streak Route: This stretches the defense vertically and can help clear out space for other routes to develop.

Post-Snap Progression:

Once the ball is snapped, follow this read progression:

Outside Bunch Receiver on the Drag Route: This is the first option to hit. In both Zone and Man coverage, drags are extremely effective. If the defense leaves the drag route open underneath, take the easy yards.

Running Back on the Swing Route or Inside Bunch Receiver on the Trail Route: Depending on how the defense plays, the swing route can be effective in Zone coverage, while the trail route often works against both Zone and Man coverage. The trail route, in particular, has a sneaky way of getting open after the user overcommits to the drag.

Post Route from the Inside Bunch Receiver: This route becomes important when the underneath routes (drag and trail) are covered. It stretches the defense vertically and provides a great option against both Zone and Man coverage, particularly when you need to attack the deep middle of the field.

One of the key elements of Wide Trail is its ability to stretch the defense both horizontally and vertically, using a combination of drags, trail routes, and a deep post route to force defenders into tough choices. The play forces defenders to pick between covering the shallow routes or giving up big plays over the top, making it nearly impossible to shut down completely.

3. Jet Touch Pass – A Short Yardage Powerhouse

The Jet Touch Pass play is a powerful run play that excels in short-yardage situations and is especially effective near the goal line. This play, run from the Gun Normal Y Off Close formation, utilizes motion to create an effective running lane on the outside.

Pre-Snap Adjustments:

Hash Side Selection: You can run this play from either hash, but for maximum space, you want your running back lined up on the wide side of the field, as that's the direction the Jet Touch Pass will go.

Post-Snap Execution:

Once the ball is snapped:

The slot receiver comes in motion and takes the Jet Touch Pass.

You'll want to avoid holding the sprint button too early, as this will cause blocks to shed prematurely. Wait until you've established your running lane and then use the sprint button to burst into the open field.

The key to success with this play is vision. Read the defense and decide whether to take it outside or cut back inside, depending on the leverage of the defenders.

The Jet Touch Pass is an incredibly powerful short-yardage play, especially when the defense is playing with a spread-out formation. It's perfect for breaking outside on quick tosses, and when the defense is crowded near the goal line, this play offers a great chance to get around the edge and score.

Taking the Plays Into Online Head-to-Head Games

To demonstrate the effectiveness of these money plays, let's walk through some live-game scenarios where these plays truly shine.

Game 1: Eagles vs. Rams

In this match, we started with Curl Flat in the Gun Trips Tight End formation. On the first play, we hit the tight end on the drag route, which resulted in an easy first down. Later, when in a short-yardage situation, we used Jet Touch Pass to get down to the 37-yard line with excellent blocking on the outside. Finally, we used Wide Trail to hit the post route for a huge first down, showcasing how devastating the deep options can be when the underneath routes are covered.

Game 2: Eagles vs. Commanders

In this game, Curl Flat once again worked wonders. The drag route to the tight end gained big yards, while the Wide Trail route was unstoppable, especially with the user defending the underneath routes. In the red zone, we returned to the Jet Touch Pass, which once again proved effective in tight spaces, allowing us to get into the end zone.

Game 3: Eagles vs. Commanders (Again)

The third game featured a similar success story. Curl Flat kept moving the ball, while Wide Trail continued to create open lanes for the drag and post routes. And once again, in the red zone, we called the Jet Touch Pass to seal the game with a touchdown.
