RSVSR ARC Raiders Flashpoint Tips for the Toughest Fights

  • March 31, 2026 10:58 PM PDT

Anyone dropping into Speranza after the March 2026 patch can feel the shift straight away, and it's not just because people are suddenly chasing better ARC Raiders Coins routes. Flashpoint changed the pace of a raid in a more direct way. Close Scrutiny is the big reason why. The new ARC Assessor objective turns parts of the map into a magnet for trouble, and everyone knows it. The reward is obvious: more loot, better loot, faster runs if things go your way. The catch is that they usually don't. You push into one of these zones and almost immediately you're dealing with extra machines, nervous enemy teams, and that constant feeling that one bad peek ends the whole run.

    A harsher map than before

The biggest difference is how exposed you feel now. The Vaporizer has changed that by itself. It's not the kind of enemy you can just shrug off and keep moving around. If you're caught in the open, those laser strikes come down fast and weirdly timed, which makes panic way more likely than people want to admit. Cover matters more than ever. At the same time, Shredders aren't some rare set-piece threat anymore. They're showing up in places where raids used to feel pretty manageable, from Blue Gate to the Spaceport, then Buried City, then the Dam Battlegrounds. That spread alone has made ordinary loot runs less predictable, and honestly, that's why veteran players can't just play on autopilot now.

New gear that actually earns its slot

Some updates throw in new weapons that sound cool and then gather dust in storage. This isn't one of those cases. The Dolabra feels built for the kind of pressure Flashpoint creates. Switching between the wider electric burst and the tighter shot gives it real flexibility, especially when machines and players are both crashing into the same fight. The Canto SMG is less flashy, but it's useful in the way good weapons usually are. Easy to trust, decent at mid-range, and forgiving when a fight gets messy. Then there's the Surge Coil, which might be the smartest addition of the bunch. Drop it at a choke point during extraction and suddenly the enemy has to make a choice they probably don't want to make.

    Small progression fixes that matter

Outside combat, the update does a better job respecting the player's time. The High-Gain Antenna project adds a bit of mystery without dragging things down, and that's a nice balance. It hints at something bigger without feeling like empty filler. Scrappy also got one of the most practical changes in the patch. Being able to feed him targeted items and shape what he brings back cuts a lot of dead grind out of the routine. The direct material pull in crafting is another one of those features that should've been there earlier, but once you use it, you really don't want to go back. Less menu wrestling, more raiding. Simple.

    Why the reaction feels split

Some players were hoping for a whole new map, so it makes sense that the response has been mixed. Still, it's hard to argue that the game feels stale right now. Flashpoint has made firefights rougher, more crowded, and a lot more reactive. You've got more reasons to commit, more ways to get punished, and fewer safe habits to rely on. That keeps a live extraction shooter healthy. And if you're the kind of player who likes staying stocked up before the next big patch, RSVSR is the sort of place people check for game currency and useful items without wasting time bouncing between shady options, which fits nicely with the faster, more demanding loop ARC Raiders is leaning into ahead of Riven Tides.
